Make a Difference Day is a national day devoted to helping others by volunteering in the community, and is typically on the fourth Saturday of October. This year, like last year, Waste-Free Dayton is organizing a litter cleanup for the Friday and Saturday for Make a Difference Day. We will be focused on Hamilton Ave in the Historic Inner East neighborhood of Dayton, Ohio, and the adjoining streets. For the morning and afternoon cleanup sessions on Friday, we will meet towards the east end of Hamilton, and on Saturday we will meet west of Steve Whalen on Hamilton.

There will be some work needed in the alleys, putting bulkier trash in a trash truck, as well as picking litter along the streets. Gloves, trash bags, and litter grabbers will be provided.
