Giving Tuesday & Year-End Appeal

Following Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday has turned into one of the most important days of the year for nonprofit organizations. In 2020, $2.47 billion was given to nonprofits in the US, a number that has increased each year since the first Giving Tuesday in 2012. In our first year as a nonprofit, we are excited to participate in Giving Tuesday for the first time. For any funds raised on November 30th and through the end of 2021, we plan to fund our 2021 programming, which will include:

• Monthly Litter Cleanups

• In-Person and Virtual Educational Presentations in the Community

• Advocacy Training

• Waste-Free Popup Events

To donate on Giving Tuesday, you can choose to donate on Facebook (No fees, 100% of the donation goes to WFD) or through our Square site.
