Plastic Free July
Plastic Free July is a global movement that started in Australia and is overseen by Plastic Free Foundation. The goals are to reduce our use of single-use plastics, and to encourage others to incorporate plastic-free solutions in their everyday lives. Waste-Free Dayton is just one of many organizations that share these common goals. Throughout the month of July, we will be sharing tips and resources on social media and on our website.
We invite you to:
Join Waste-Free Dayton’s PFJ Campaign and be entered into our Giveaway that will occur at the end of the month (Sign-up form below)

Sign up to participate in Waste-Free Dayton’s Plastic Free July Campaign
By signing up using the form below, you are pledging to make an effort to reduce your use of plastics during the month of July (and hopefully going forward!). The goal is not to try to be perfect. As Zero Waste Chef has said, we don’t need a small group of people (doing zero waste) perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly.
We hope you join us on this journey, and will share your experience with us during the month. If you’d like, Email us with your story, or any questions or suggestions. And tag us in your social media posts!
We will do a drawing at the end of the month to give away a few gift cards.
Update 8/1/23
The campaign and giveaway have ended, thank you to all those who participated! You are still welcome to fill out the form below to let us know how Plastic Free July went for you, and if you have any feedback for us.
