Join Brett for Meatless Monday

Co-Director Brett shares one of his go-to meatless recipes, Chickpea Burgers from Nora Cooks.

  • 1 can chickpeas drained and rinsed

  • 2 Tbsp Tahini or Peanut Butter

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1/4 cup red onion

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro or parsley (optional)

Smash the chickpeas, combine everything together, and form into patties. Pan fry or bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes at 350.

The bread came from Good Hands Bread Company and the mushrooms from Guided by Mushrooms, and the peppers, potatoes, lettuce, and tomatoes came from Mile Creek Farm.
