A Dayton Regional Green Event:

Lush and wild, the 153 acres of Canyon Run Ranch property is diverse and offers ancient woods, fields of wild flowers and native pollinators, cascading water, wetlands and much more! Not only that, Amy Ward, proprietor and owner, has a life goal to live simply, sustainably, and off the grid! She will show us around her magical property and share her successes, as well as failures, in pursuing the good life.

All are invited! Bring you teams, employees, students and friends and lets’ get everyone up, outdoors and moving.

Program Highlights:

• Meet and greet over coffee and bagels. Network, share knowledge and exchange ideas with like-minded individuals passionate about sustainable living.

• Our host, Amy Wards, has created a successful business rooted in sustainability. she will share her story as she has created an oasis that is friendly and welcoming for Ohio wildlife, plantlike and humans.

• Meg Maloney and Ryan McEwan, local ecologists and sustainability enthusiasts, will be taking participants through an interactive tree identification activity that includes fabulous fun-facts. Participants will learn about some of our native trees and gain skills needed to become amateur dendrologists by the end of the hike!

• Stephanie Marshall will guide attendees to learn how to calm our nervous systems that are running on high, to slow down, breath and reconnect to our inner peace and to nature.
